Right! Right?

So God sees the end from the beginning, and the beginning from the end, right?
That means God knows of all that ever happened and all that will ever happen, right?
So then God knew that the tree of Good and Evil would eventually ruin the world he so painstakingly created, right?
But he still put the tree right smack in the middle of the garden, right?
And then he said to Adam to “eat not of the fruit of that tree”, right?
But he knew what would happen, right?
So Adam and Eve died because they disobeyed God, right?
Right?
Right!

  1. When I was an atheist before I also that belief. I asked why did God put up the tree at the middle of the garden, told the people not to eat the fruits, and to be beware of the serpent and so on and so on. I know this will backfired..

Just like when you commanded a toddler, “don’t go there!” But you can see the toddler will go anyway.

But one thing is reflected in the story of that Tree: that Human are curious, and do not fear God, even thousand years ago, and up to today.

      • It only shows us that people have the power to choose at the beginning. Free will. He gave this gift because God loves us. And also, we can show our love back to God. He gave free will, because if you analyze, in order for love to exist, we must have free will. If you are being “forced” to love somebody, that’s not love at all. Right? That’s compulsion.

But because of Free will, we always have a choice.

At the Garden of Eden, there is only one way to disobey God and that is the tree. The tree represented the choice.

And besides, (yes it is OK to be curious just like I did before when I was an atheist), but I came up with an idea, do we know better than God? As far as our science can go, I don’t think it will ever happen to the point that our human understanding will match God. Can we make the sun rise everyday to all of us whether we are good and evil?

      • Yes, that’s right, that is why it is important to know the scriptures.
Actually, it is written in the Bible, Jesus said, “enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” See? Many people take “wrong” choices that will eventually lead to their destruction.

Therefore, we should make the right choices. We should be more thankful to our Free will, look – if we do not have this free will then we will be like robots that are “programmed” just to follow God, 🙂

      • Thank you! I believe you are one of those who will enter through a narrow gate, given the fact that you you had asked about Adam and Eve and God. As you will observe, not many people (especially those religious people) had asked about like what you had asked, right? And yet, these same people are just “following” despite they did not understand what they believe in. 🙂

Can I ask where you from?
